All standard work will be assessed as it pertains to the standard it addresses as either advanced, proficient, basic or below basic.
In PowerSchool, grades will reflect a five-point scale where Advanced = 5 Proficient = 4 Basic = 3 Below Basic = 2
Any work turned in on time can be redone and turned in again until the due date for the final project or test for that unit. o Work that is redone must be attached to the original assignment with Ms. Hagans’ comments on it or it will not be accepted. o Work may be redone as many times as the student has time for. o The grade in PowerSchool will reflect the highest grade on an assignment that a student has earned.
Ms. Hagans will accept any assignment late until the due date for the final project or test for that unit. o Late work will receive a maximum label of “basic.” o Late work may not be redone. o Final projects will not be accepted late.
Students may apply to redo a final project or a test if their grade was less than 70%. o Applications may only be obtained directly from Ms. Hagans. o Final projects and tests are only eligible for one redo. o End of course projects or tests may not be redone. o Final projects and tests are only eligible for up to 70% of the original grade. o Students will have no more than one week to redo a final project or test. o Students may not redo a final project or test if they have a missing assignment within that unit or any assignment marked as “below basic.”
